Featured Artist interview: Spider (E45)

About: Spider from Spring Hill, Florida

"Soon to retire 24 year Army veteran turned musician. A native New Yorker, (Glen Cove, Long Island) now in Florida."

1). Do you have a phobia? If yes - what?
I have a phobia about heights, which is strange because I'm a paratrooper. It's my high. I trust my training and equipment so I just go for it! (correction, I used to)

2). If you wouldn't have become an artist, what would you be?
I draw and paint so I guess I would just be a different kind of artist.

3). What is your "formula for success"?
Just stick to it. The whole time I've been in the military I continued to learn all I could about music and how to record. I learned mostly through trial and error, mostly error. lol I never gave up. I am now in the "wounded warrior program". Instead of thinking about what I couldn't do, I concentrated on what I could do. During this time I learned more than I did during the my whole career. Like they said in Nemo "just keep swimming, just keep swimming".

4). If you had a chance to perform a live concert in any of these 3 countries: India, Congo, Iraq - what would it be and why?
Iraq, definitely Iraq! I'd have to do something for the troops.

5). If you started a social networking project/website, what would you call it?
Universal Truth
