"Christine was born in England and moved to Canada as a young adolescent. She lived in numerous places such as Winnipeg and Montreal, before settling down in an isolated community in the wilderness of northern Ontario. By fourteen she was playing guitar and writing her own songs. At Age 18 she won a provincial singer songwriting contest. By her midtwenties Bauer had developed her distintive, throaty voice and began touring the fairs and festivals of Manitoba, Ontario and northern Minesota. In 1997 she received critical acclaim for an all-original CD, which received national airplay on radio stations across Canada.“The Last Ore Train”, was recorded live for the sound track of People Patterns, a television documentary series.
In the winter of 2009, After a twelve year hiatus, Christine rekindled her fiery passion of music."
1).How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
If I had a million dollars I'd buy a sailboat and sail around the world a few times.
2).What was the craziest thing to happen in your life?
I've had many crazy things to happen , the latest is I met someone on line and we married the second time we met. Lasted 3 years. Okay , you asked for one but here is another.... I bought a house for $1,000.00 last year.
3).What kind of message is in your music? Why or for what reason do you write music?
I have many messages in my music, I sing stories about real things that have happened to me or that I've witnessed. The common theme is that they are heartfelt.
I write music because I cannot stop from writing music. I love it. It is the way I express my deepest self.
4).What would you do if the world was going to end in 3 hours?
If the world was going to end in 3 hours I'd want to say goodbye to those I loved. But I'm a survivour so I really would not it to end for me.
5).If you were a professional sportsman, what sport would you play?
Volleyball or.... VolleyBall or Mmmm.... Volley Ball
