Featured Artist interview: Sounds Like Shavon (E48)

About: Sounds Like Shavon

"I have traveled the world in search for a freedom unlike any other. Every corner of the world has a different hue, has a new set of rules and a point of view' Scotland gave me life, New york showed me life, and London made it all worth it!"

1). How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
I would settle myself and my family in england and put my studio together top Knotch' then I would get the bands I been workin with together for some recording and major marketing and we would be off around the world on tour... woo hoo

2). What was the craziest thing to happen in your life? I got to travel to scotland on one of my musical journeys and witnessed one of the most incredible bar fights of my life. I also got to play at Knight and Fordde in Glasgow to one of the biggest crowds I ever played to date, and got a response that has sent the chills of destiny and liberation through my veins.

3). What kind of message is in your music? Why or for what reason do you write music? My music is about pain and struggle through judgment and rejection and also about liberation and freedom, and finding strength within yourself. I write music because is sets me free, I feel like I can reach the stars when i pick up my guitar, like the whole world is at my finger tips. I write to make people feel understood, not alone.. To give people hope... to make people believe... to make people feel...

4). What would you do if the world was going to end in 3 hours? I would find a high building and lay a blanket down on the roof, cuddle my family up watch the sky!

5). If you were a professional sportsman, what sport would you play? I would be playin some hard core down and dirty UK football! I would be goalie cause there wont be gettin no past me...I get all the balls..LOL! WOO HOO! Bring on the pain!
