About: ATRIA

"ATRIA were reformed in the year 2009, by DAPHNE GEROGIANNI and ARIS ZARAKAS (ex-Magic De Spell, Active Member, Rodes), alongside with STEFANOS KUNDIG. Defining their new sound as Alternative/ Rock, ATRIA are now in the studio recording new material, expected to be released soon.
The band was first formed as an electro duet in 2000. Choosing their name by a navigation star, they released two EP's, "Ta Pedia tis Polis"(2001), “Man in Motion"(2004), and one album "Ime Kardia"(2003), and have participated in various Greek compilations. Their live performances included openings for bands like: The Stereo Mc’s, Pet Shop Boys, Marc Almond, Anne Clark, Hoovephonic and The Scissor Sisters.

1). What musical instrument is the wildest/most fun to play on (from your point of view)?
A Fender Stratocaster!

2). What has been the biggest challenge in your life?
First and Last and Always... MUSIC!

3). What song you can listen to again and again?
Heroes - David Bowie

4). What is your favorite feature on R&R?
That independent artists have a voice to the world... and of course, your podcast!
