Featured Artist interview: Shenanigans (E66)

About: Shenanigans

"We would like to introduce to you a new kind of acoustic music. I write a lot of sappy love songs or hate songs (Depending on how you would like to look at it) and I feel it is your duty to listen and relate to them! I don't write solemnly about my balmy love interests, but I write more for what others can relate to.
I'm sure most of you will feel the way my songs may relate. Listen and tell me what you think! I am from Rosamond Ca, and just moved to Mesquite Tx. Hoping to find some gigs at local venues. I have been writing for 7 years and am just now starting to put my music out!"

1). What musical instrument is the wildest/most fun to play on (from your point of view)?
I love to play guitar, but I think playing the drums is the most wildest/most fun. A lot of movement!

2). What has been the biggest challenge in your life?
The biggest challenge was finding people that had the same love of music that I have.

3). What song you can listen to again and again?
I can listen to "Dammit" by Blink 182, over and over again.

4). What is your favorite feature on R&R?
I like that you can customize your own page and let people listen to the music you have created.

5). If you could ask one question to the leader of your country, what would it be?
What have you done for our country?

  1. Wow. That is really good. It amazes me how these independent artists are more often better then most of the mainstream stuff playing on the radio. These record companies need to get with it. -matthew-

  4. Pleasantly surprised! Great voice and love the words. I need to be this young mans manager, I need the money! With the sound he has in his voice he really needs to do some Christian music and the lines of Casting Crowns or some of the other popular groups. Great job! Just try to use the proper road.
