16 pac - Rock/Indie, France (ArenaCast E81)

About: 16pac ,4 piece band from Paris

"...Now a trio, they start the recording of their second album. "Endless Work In Progress" is out in March 2006. From the electro pop style of the beginning, they're now exploring a deeper and complex universe (electro folk, electro rock, post rock…). Again this album get them a lot of good reviews and they play dozens of gigs and radio shows in Paris and in France. This album is selected in 2007 for the compilation "Nouveaux Talents FNAC Music"..... Their records are avalaible in shops and from main online music stores through COD&S and Believe .... Today, after one year of recording, they are proud to present their third LP: "DOWN UNDER THE ELEVATOR"

This week our questions are dedicated to summer.

1). What track/album/artist gives you the most summer mood?
Most of the song we like are more representative of the Autumn mood (dark and rainy ;-) but Jack Johnson or Lenine would fit well.

2). If you could choose any place on Earth – where would you spend your summer vacation?
In a Bus, touring all over the world like in "Almost Famous"

3). Summer is the time for music festivals. What festivals have you visited/played/want to play?
We never played a summer festival yet, but we'd like to play at les vieilles charrues festival, in France... Les Eurockeennes would be a nice place to play... Rock en seine too, where you can see a lot of new bands and big ones.

4). How do you think, what was the most remarkable summer in a music history?
Summer 68, The Beatles recording their White Album.

5). What are the best things to do on summer as for you?
Have fun times with friends and family, take the time to live.. Reading books, sleeping and listening to new and cool music.
