Danie Ferrusi - Folk Singer-Songwriter, USA (ArenaCast E82)

About: Danie Ferrusi - winner of our weekly poll from New York

"Danie Ferrusi began producing music in the late 90's as an inexperienced preteen; recording on every medium from cassette tapes to digital video cameras. Young yet not shaken by age, now 22 years old, Danie holds her own as a unique lyricist with an unmistakable voice and sound. Lyrically wise beyond her years, Ferrusi's music paints a timeless motif moved by soul and story. It's the perfect storm for a genuinely compelling creation."

This week our questions are dedicated to summer.

1). What track/album/artist gives you the most summer mood?
The Spin Doctors (You've Got To Believe In Something), their track "House" always pumps me up for summertime.

2). If you could choose any place on Earth – where would you spend your summer vacation?
Although I love New York, I've always wanted to visit South West England. Bristol maybe? Any where in the United Kingdom, really.

3). Summer is the time for music festivals. What festivals have you visited/played/want to play?
I think anyone who's anyone has probably wanted to play Bonnaroo. So far this summer, I've attended Camp Bisco and I'll hopefully be playing at the Salem Soul Festival!

4). How do you think, what was the most remarkable summer in a music history?
1969 Woodstock.

5). What are the best things to do on summer as for you?
Summertime is the best for festivals, outdoor shows, camp jams, and of course frequently BBQing.
