Motorfinger - hard rock , Norway (ArenaCast E83)

About: Motorfinger - cool hard rock band from Oslo

"Me and Jonas (drummer) started up as a coverband in 2009. Later joined Jon Anders on guitar, Morten on Bass, and Maurice on vocals and we became Motorfinger. We quickly drafted away from playing covers and started to play our own music instead. I guess we fit into the genre of downtempo hard rock with a little grunge on the top.
We will release our first EP september 2011. This is mastered by Dave Collins (Soundgarden, Linkin Park, Motley Crue... and of course Spinal Tap). Geir Bratland of DIMMU BORGIR contributes on the song Walk Away."

1). What is the most exotic/extraordinary place you have ever performed at?
Playing John Dee (Norwegian famous club stage) for our second gig. (Pretty exotic when you think about the fact that bands wait in line to get up there.)

2). When you are 70 – how do you see your life?
we'll probably look back and say: "we should have put something cool in that interview and not this". Who want's to be 70 anyway?

3). If you could talk to any of the rock-stars, dead or alive, whom would you talk to and what would you ask?
We would take a show business class from Lars Ulrich and Gene Simmons. And we would get some kind of connection to inherit tons of money because the music bizz seem to treasure money more than talent these days.
If it wasn't so we would just hang with Jimmy, Janis, Jim, Dimebag and all the other heroes that died to soon. (Maybe not Amy...)

4). What countries and cities would you like to visit the most during the tour?
Touring Europe, Asia and America has to be the ultimate dream.

5). Which famous band/artist you would be glad to share the stage with?
Rage against the machine, because of the sweet energy. Foo Fighters, because we think their fans would like our stuff and we believe the tour would be more fun than popcorn.
