About:Nasty Reputation
"Nasty Reputation is about having a good time and bringing the fun back to rock. We put together "not to be taken so seriously" lyrics with high level musicianship to make our mature, hook laden compositions really shine. Our music takes the vibe and blues of 80's hard rock, the groove of southern rock and the punch of metal to create a unique style that's not too heavy for those who like it easy on their ears, yet not too soft for those who like it heavy. Each member gives the band a different side: Jessie shreds on guitar with the 80's hard rock thing, Manuel pounds his drums hard with the glam touch, Guillermo's duty on the bass is the virtuoso bluesy-funky groove, and Rafa gives it all the metal vibe with his insane screaming. Nasty Reputation has the chops, the groove and the attitude to take it to the top."

Featured Artist interview: Gift Of Vision (E54)
About: Gift Of Vision from México
"Gift Of Vision is a solo project based in the idea of playing different music genres, not necessary mixing them but, realizing music as all human emotions can variate .
Music is very extended and rich, is made for everyone, for listen on different situations, moods and places, so if there is a whole world full of music, every musician should just play it without any compromise to belong to any label, genre or specific concept.
...Live perform? I prefer to play for 5 people who enjoy the sound in a small room than opening for a big artist behind a whistling crowd wishing for my set to finish. The name of the project is taken from the Carlos Castaneda’s books. The gift of vision is a state of mind, soul and body."
1). How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
First mmm... pay my debts? hahaha! :D
I would pay for a night at some hotel in Dubai, call room service for a refrigerator full of milky way and lithuanian beer, I would go to that expensive strip club near home and start some fireworks in the bathroom while running out screaming fire fire! I would buy a home studio with a properly bar, I would buy all the Twilight books & dvd's available and invite to all my friends to an epic bonfire in the woods, I would hire Usher to produce my first album but when he comes to the studio all I would sing is: pull my finger in D minor imitating Pavarotti's voice and then trying to tell him abstract is gonna be the next big thing.
And yeah, new beds and toys for that orphan located a block from home too. I'm serious.

Featured Artist interview : Imari Tones (E53)
About: Imari Tones from Yokohama
"Of the long list of factors that make ImariTones stand out from the world around them, it is their drive, their reach that tops it all. An unapologetically Christian heavy metal band out of Japan, Tak, Hassy, and Jake have a passion to reach beyond their culture to make the music they love, and to reach beyond their music to bring Jesus into their culture. While drawing comparisons to legends like Van Halen, Rush, and Stryper with their hybrid of old school metal/glam/Brit/70's prog rock, they are one of very few bands in the world that can claim true originality. How so? They are the first Christian heavy metal band ever to come out of Japan.
That ultimate goal, to see their native Japan embrace Christianity, is what they reach for most of all, even while their sights are set on the USA and the rest of the world. Some think they're a joke, or a contradiction, that Christianity, Japan, and heavy metal just don't belong together. Some think they're ahead of their time. But if you ask Tak, Hassy, and Jake, they'll say they're doing exactly what they love at exactly the right time, and they're never going to stop reaching for more."
1).How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
Spend my whole life to find the right way to use it

Featured Artist interview: Go Green (E52)
About:Go Green from Tokyo
"go green" was formed by Kenji in 1995, as a three piece (Guitar-Bass-Drums) band in Tokyo. They didn't have much live shows like their former bands but concentrated on self-recordings. A few years later, go green has shifted to Kenji's solo recording project, sometimes with guest players.
Almost all of the songs are produced by home recordings at Kenji's small apartment in Tokyo and go green tries to break the limit of so-called "bedside recording" on sound quality by powerful rhythms, crunchy guitars and floating melodies.
In 2008, go green has restarted the live shows in Tokyo. Kenji plays with acoustic/electric guitars and pre-self-recorded back tracks on iPod. That performance is sometimes described as a "stand-alone rock band".
In 2009, 2 songs of go green received "Semi-Finalist" status at "UK Songwriting Contest". The songs are called "Baby Smiley Smile" and "Fantastic Bloom".
The new album "Floating on the Edge" was released on 13th October, 2010 in Japan under DIY label "SpunkTone".
1). How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
I'd like to make a studio for music and design like The Factory of Andy Warhol in London or Berlin.

Featured Artist interview: Voice Of Addiction (E52)
About: Voice Of Addiction from Chicago
"Voice Of Addiction takes on the attitude the the punk rock revolution instilled in us, but infuses it with genre-mashing breakdowns. Sometimes described as a "unique refreshing slant to the rock world." Voice Of Addiction's members put their distinct personalities and experiences into the instruments they play and the music they write. V.O.A.'s music has an immense presence that builds tension and releases it at the most opportune times."
1. How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
We have never played outside of North America. I would use this as the starting platform for a world tour. I can't speak for the rest of the guys, but for me travelling and playing music live for people are the two best things in the world. I feel privileged to be able to do as much of both as I do. I have never been to most of the world, and what a better way to do it.

Featured Artist interview: Charly Bonavita (E51)
About: Charly Bonavita from Buenos Aires
"I'm a musician from Argentina, I am preparing a musical project, writing a lot, and I decided to show some of what I do on the Internet while I work and slowly looking for musicians interested in playing with me. From the age of 11 I play guitar as an autodidact, and since 2008 I start to study drums. Recently I began to practice as self-taught on keyboards as well. In 2009 I joined a band called Marea Spika, as a drummer, and now I am doing my own solo music. I have proposed, as a multi-instrumentalist musician stationed in the above instruments, but also experienced in all the instruments at my reach, with the idea to be me who's run at all when I'm recording, except a collaboration of a friend . Hope you get my vibrations."
1).How would you spend a million dollars if you had it?
If I had a million dollars now, I'd like to buy everything I need to have a good studio recording.
I'd like too to Travel the world, and invest money to go out and play my music with a band and knowing other musicians.
