Jointpop: a Five Piece Rock Band from Trinidad & Tobago (E110)

About: Jointpop

Rock N Roll Renegades of Trinidad and Tobago! The line-up consists of Gary Hector - Vox, Guitar, Damon Homer – Guitar, Dion Camacho – Drums, Phil Hill - Keys, Synth and Jerome Girdharrie – Bass.
"Jointpop sounds like The Clash being molested by The Beatles while smokin' with Bob Marley ..."

1. How do you see yourself in 5 years? What is your main goal as a band?
5 Years??... Its hard for us to see 5 months or 5 hours ahead to be honest. Jointpop has been together for 16 years, and that was not ever expected. We really do take it one day at a time.

2. Can you name some peculiarities that define the music scene in your town/country?
Yes for sure...Fake, terrible, no history and lots of glad men.

3. What do you think of episode 110? Which of the other featured songs do you like the most?
"All My Yesterdays" by The Condition

4. Is there a story behind your song "$oul$ Going Cheap"?
It was just a phrase a friend on mine used one night...and it stuck with me. And also its funny how the soul selling aspect of rock n roll has gone quiet since the 70s... It used to be Taboo you know.

5. Please share your nearest plans. What are you currently working on?
Currently we are working on our 6th album called " The Pot Hounds " to be released in October 2012. Uk and Europe tour to follow.
