Best Served Chilled: indie/alternative rockers from Nottingham, UK (E113)

About: Best Served Chilled

Best Served Chilled: indie/alternative rock band from Nottingham, UK played in E112 of the ArenaCast

"Gigging as a band without a name, we brain stormed for ages as a band to find out what we could call ourselves, going through websites and all sorts to find one. Then when we werent looking for one, our singer read out the back of a beer bottle and Best Served Chilled just seemed to work."

1. Is there a story behind your song "Fairytale Queen"?
There's not really a story behind the song, more an experiment of puns from various classic children's stories. It was a band production from a combined effort musically but lyrically from Bassist Lawrence on the verse and Drummer Jack on the chorus. Lawrence sings the verse and Joe sings the chorus

2. Describe your band in 3 words.
Chemistry. Passionate. Jamming.

3. Describe your perfect gig - where would it be?
A perfect gig for us wouldn't be your stereotypical Wembley arena, it'd be a small close countered venue, an intimate performance with the audience that really interact would really please.

4. What do you think of episode 113? Which of the other featured songs do you like the most?
We enjoyed all the artist but in particular the band from Serbia, Hod. They had a cool sound, we'd make a good gig playing with them, shame about the distance.

5. What would you and your band do if tomorrow was the end of the world?
If the world were to end, as a band we'd invite our close friends and family to a band practice, get the drinks flowing and drink until the world ended, jamming and generally having a great time.
