"...We wanted to make not just music but make it an experience for everyone who listens. Everyone at some point in time wanted to be someonElse so our idea is to try and bring people into the music and make them feel as if they are someone else or apart of something. Hope that makes sense."
1. Is there a story behind your song "Winter in July"?
Dave, our singer would probably be able to answer this question properly, and that's assuming that there is a story at all behind it. When the guys initially first recorded the song, as far as I can recall, Dave wasn't exactly sure what to write in regards to lyrics. Hours of boredom and beers led to a lot of comedy, and thus a song about Dandruff was born. The music in the song was originally written to be fun and engaging, so we added a bit of comedy in the recipe (and the video).
2. Describe your band in 3 words.
Engaging. Different. Mental.
3. Describe your perfect gig - where would it be?
I'm not sure there is a perfect gig. A band, like any other relationship, has its ups and downs, with some gigs being better than others. We've played big promotional gigs that were disasters and done small private gigs that were major success, and vice-versa. The perfect gig is the one where the crowd joins in on the fun, and responds to our antics and our music, regardless of where you are.
4. What do you think of episode 113? Which of the other featured songs do you like the most?
I think the podcast was great! Im looking forward to hearing more in the future. Its refreshing to hear new music every now and then. All the songs featured were great. My personal favorites were by D.V.N.O. You&I Together and First To Fall Easy Huntin, mainly because those are the styles that I really enjoy listening to the most.
5. What would you and your band do if tomorrow was the end of the world?
Party like a rockstar. Being in a band is a lot of work and a lot of hussle, with very little time to really have fun (other than rocking out on stage). So, we would throw a huge party, and end it all with a BANG!
